Playa
Playa is the leading third party entry relationship field type, from Pixel and Tonic
The Playa fieldtype has 2 modes, depending on the playa field's settings : Single Entry and Multiple Entry modes.
Note: If you've allowed the playa field to associate entries within the same channel which you're populating, Seed will include newly seeded entries in the relationships
Single Entry Mode
The single entry mode has no seed options. Seed will automatically pick a single entry to relate to at random based on the field settings.
Multiple Entry Mode
Multiple entry mode works similar to single entry mode, but gives you the added option to pick how many entries you'd like related. You can specify a range of values as with other Seed fields.
Minimum Entry Count- The minimum number of entries to associate with this entry
Maximum Entry Count- The maximum number of entries to associate with this entry
Note: Seed honors your Playa field settings when populating. It will only pick entries within the channels, statuses and authors as set for the field
